On 24 - 27 July 2017, the Center for ASEAN Studies and Training (CAST) led by Asst. Prof. Siri-Orn Champatong, Director, Dr.Ratchasak Sannok (Assistant to the President for Administration) and Dr. Chitpong Ayasanond (Chair, Master Degree Program, College of Logistics and Supply Chain) has discussed for the further academic cooperation under ASEAN Academic Alliance AAA) (Flag.) Project at the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
For the purpose that, they have attended the meeting at Ho Chi Minh City Open University (HCMCOU) with Dr. Trinh Thuy Anh (Dean, Faculty of Business Administration), Assoc. Prof. Dr. T. Phuoc Nguyen (Head, Civil Engineering and Electric Program), Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh (Director, Student Affairs Office), Dr. Quyen Nguyen Deputy (Director, Cooperation and Research Management Office), Mr. Tam Doan Ho Dan and Ms. Diem Dao Vu Bich (Cooperation and Research Management Office)
Additionally, they have attended the meeting at Siam Cement Group (SCG) Vietnam Co.,Ltd. with Mr. Chartchai Jadtanim, Country Human Resources Director and Mr. Chakapat Pisitpongsakorn, Logistics Director.
In this meetings were aimed to discuss for the further academic cooperation such as; the information sharing, academic and research cooperation, student internship and scholarship etc. And as to the meeting result, College of Logistics and Supply Chain would send the graduate students to attend “The Refereed International Conference on Business and Economics Vietnam & The Australian Region: Unlocking The Business and Economic Potential” on 16 – 18 November 2017 at Ho Chi Minh City Open University (HCMCOU).
