Took the Students to Watch the Movie,
“Hidden
Figures”
On 27 June 2017, Asst. Prof. Siri-orn Champatong (Director of Center for ASEAN Studies and Training), Dr. Phuwich Ngewlai (Vice-Director for Academic, English Program: EP) and Mr. Pachara Wangmee (Guidance Counselor) recently took 35 secondary school students of the Demonstration School of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University to watch the movie, “Hidden Figures” as the invitation from the Division of Mass Media and Culture, U.S. Embassy, Bangkok which it was a special occasion of its debut. The movie is about the colored women who work for NASA to prove their competency and they have to face up the racialism and gender inequality in 1960s. For the purpose that, the teachers and students of the Demonstration School also had a discussion after watching this as well.
