CAST & FHS conducted ASEAN@50

                 On 8 August 2017, the Center for ASEAN Studies and Training (CAST) led by Asst. Prof. Siri-Orn Champatong, Director, and CAST team has cooperated with Hotel and Lodging program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University led by Ms. Pimonpat Pantana and students to conduct the "ASEAN@50 on the theme of Hospitality Art Competition with ASEAN Aroma under the project of Learning Center Development of ASEAN Community" at Activity Zone, Building 37. In order that, it was our honored to have Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prungsak Attaphut, Vice-President for Administration at the opening remark, the executives; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chonnanart Meenanan (Vice-President for Student Affairs), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Komol Pisan (Director, Office of the President), Mrs. Pornpis Praditpong (Director, Division of Student Affairs) and it was our honored to have Miss Wilasinee Jintalikitdee, Vice-Dean for Academic, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the presenting rewards and closing remark. This project was aimed to celebrate on the occasion of the 50th ASEAN Anniversary by arranging the Speed up Napkins Folding and Speed up Bed Making Competition with the concept and aspect to ASEAN Community which supported by Mr. Tanut Jongprasert, Talent and Culture Manager, Pullman Bangkok King Power and the committees from various institutions as following;

Committees for the Speed up Napkin Folding Competition:
1. Ms. Nattaporn Leevirat, Food and Beverage Manager, The Siam Hotel Bangkok
2. Mr. Saranyu Sriarak, Restaurant Manager, Mercure & Ibis Bangkok Siam Hotel (Accor Group)
3. Ms. Supannee Jundavicha, Assistant Restaurant Manager, Novotel Bangkok Impact

Committees for the Speed up Bed Making Competition
1. Ms. Chongchuda Totharong, Head of Hotel program, Faculty of Tourism and Hotel, Dhurakij Pundit University
2. Mr. Silpchai Sakulnguen, Room Attendant, The Siam Hotel
3. Ms. Rungrawan Horjuntuek, House Keeping Manager, Shanghai Mansion Bangkok Hotel

In order that, the competitors were students from various universities; Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin Wangkraikangwon Campus, Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, Dhonburi Rajabhat University and Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. Additionally, it has also promoted the networking and relationship between students, lecturers and the hotel business.
